For two consecutive years we partnered with the BC Chicken Marketing Board to develop and produce a fully integrated advertising campaign to promote BC Chicken Month: one month of every year dedicated to celebrating BC’s favourite protein and the people behind it.
A key element of the campaign both years was cross promotions with other BC growers including Wines of BC, BC Blueberries, BC Cranberries, BC Fresh and BC Greenhouse.
We also partnered with the BC Restaurant Association and highlighted local restaurants including Juke Chicken, Downlow Chicken Shack, Il Camientto, Dirty Laundry Winery and WINGS. Together we sought to raise the profile of the local BC culinary and agricultural scene.
We created a mix of content for broadcast, digital and print advertising, as well as organic content for social that was shared with other BC agricultural associations and local restaurants for cross-promotional efforts. We accomplished this by building a website, executing on-location video and photography shoots as well as developing unique recipes focused on BC Chicken and their partners.
