Re-establishing the quality of
a Canadian classic

A North American classic, Denny’s Canada reached out to Picnic to produce a variety of visual assets for their brand. Denny’s was looking for a single team that could deliver high end styled photography of new menu items, lifestyle photography for social campaigns, slow-motion video of final plating, and lifestyle video for social. We were able to produce everything on Denny’s list, on an extremely tight turnaround time.

Denny’s had a long list of content to be created, and they wanted a partner that could produce everything under one roof. High-end commercial food photography of new and existing menu items along with slow-motion high end video for social media. Lifestyle photography and video was also needed to showcase new demographs that call Denny’s home, and attract new patrons. 

Solutions

Our team of stylists and photographers worked hand-in-hand with the Denny’s team to set up a pop up studio at a flagship location. In 4 days of production we shot dozens of new menu items, while also directing a series of social spots with a large cast of talent. Through careful planning and scheduling we were able to have multiple teams working out of a single location, while keeping the location open to the public as well

Results

With an entire new catalog of photographs for in-store menus and web, along with a large store of slow motion video content, Denny’s was delighted with the the speed and quality of our production. In 4 days Denny’s was set for an entire year of content.
