TV COMMERCIAL FROM CONCEPT TO PRODUCTION

Spud’s ethos is planet before profit —an online grocery store that delivers fresh, local, sustainable products that consumers can feel good about eating and supporting. Spud asked Picnic to help shift perception from a produce-only company to a full-service online grocer, along with increasing brand awareness and retention amongst current and potential customers.  We were tasked with developing and producing a 30sec TV spot that could be used across multiple platforms to get the word out about Spud.

The creative concept we pitched was to bring to life the behind-the-scenes process that is at the heart of Spud’s service – directly connecting customers with the local growers and producers who provide the sustainable products that set Spud apart. Spud’s signature, branded grocery bin is front and centre as it makes its way from local producers, to the Spud warehouse for packing and on to delivery trucks before arriving at the homes and kitchens of Spud’s happy customers.
